NY JACKSON — Jackson Town Board appoints Doug Muller to council, 3-1. Supervisor Jay Skellie cast the sole dissenting vote on the appointment effective January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027. Town Clerk Molly Dixson announced her resignation at year's end; Deputy Town Clerk Rebecca Breese will assume the role.
The board approved audited bills totaling $53,443.57, comprised of $22,374.14 in General Fund and $31,069.43 in Highway Fund expenditures. Interim Highway Superintendent Dan Carney reported the salt shed is now full and the highway crew prefers a four-day 10-hour work week, with contract discussion continued to executive session.
